For time:
Row 1K
40 pound Dumbbell snatch, 50 reps
Row 750m
40 pound Dumbbell snatch, 35 reps
Row 500m
40 pound Dumbbell snatch, 20 reps

These are one-arm squat snatches, alternating arms. (Sub 65# barbell squat snatch.)


Back was tore up from DL yesterday.  Snatches were done mostly in sets of 5. Rows were 1:50-2:00 min/500m.

DB squat snatch is one exercise I don’t do. My form is bad and causes a lot of twisting in deep knee flexion. I tore the meniscus in my left knee learning these in early 2007. Or at least put the finishing touches on a prior small tear.  In any case, have not done them since.
